MADs XC NPS Final Round Today

Well done MADsers, a great day out, an excellent course and superb work by all your members..
I wasn't impressed though by one thing..I was promised topless dancers and a hang sangwich and I saw neither..
Great result for Peter Buggle and our own Adamski , Robert T and Rob Deegan..its a pity there were not more EPIC podiums but theres still one big one to go !!
PhilT and Killian had brilliant races..I think Phil is now our top Vet and Killian finished well up in the Sports..
I'm pretty sure Sprocketheadedfatguy was well up in masters too !!

yeah thanks mad a great course and plenty of marshals and the boyne club have there 1st nps ever underage title in the u12 so a great day for our wee club yeee haaa:) roll on the nationals;D

A bloody great day out! Great course and organisation! Challanging but rideable. The wind at the top of the fireroad climb was murder - On the 3rd lap I'd swear I was pedaling but going nowhere. Only disapointment was not being able to catch Vinny - just too good for me in the technical stuff! Many thanks to Jack, Shona and I think Cian (with short hair?) for the bottles and encouragement!

And Smithers shouting to us 'anybody has a spare powerlink?' when were in 100% race mode at full tilt...I thought you were going to borrow one of Adam, the state of you! :)

That was deadly lads, fair play to ya! The course was riding deadly and everyone seemed to love it!

Oh yes, it was a chain tool he was after not the powerlink!

poor Smithers , he was like a big eejit flannelling about the place !! I still believe theres a peter Buggle trapped inside of him just waiting to be carved out !! Unless of course he actually swallowed a Peter Buggle !!

Fair play to MAD for a great race and course, to the EPIC pit crew for the bottles and to Richie and the pit crew for the encouragement, I needed it badly. I was glad the laps were reduced to 3, I think I'd still be out there now if they hadn't been but in the end I was happy to finish. Mickey D seemed to be plauged, he must have passed me 2 or 3 times after mechanicals and would have been much higher up if he hadn't had the problems. All in all a great day. Thanks

Yeh I got a power link before the race, but broke a link so needed a breaker, got one was stone last, passed loads on the tech sections was goin well then got a burp or a puncture wasnt sure which and crashed in front of everyone including me missus, had a disaster changing the wheel in the tech section and plowed on again.

Big thanks to the marshells for the support "cmon mister epic" one shouted I laughed!!! and to Mad for running a great (MTB RACE) well done.

Well done to Adamski great result and everone else who finished.
