Directions to Djouce/Race start?

Can anyone point me to a 'How to get here' link for the race on Sunday?

Jaysus...you must be able to do better than that. Is there not a few different carparks? I would have thought directions to the venue would be detailed somewhere.

You should be able to hear it once you're within 5 miles or so.

Although I think I know where the start is I would mind a map to the right car park either (not that difficult to mark on google maps)

I can see that there's been a HUGE amount of work done on the course, marshalling etc but the organizational part is not very newcomer friendly:( A site with information on the course (directions, main rules, sign-on times, length of the race, prizes, course map etc) would be especially handy for people who are not part of any clubs and don't know the drill. I have managed to gather most of that information but I've had to read through loads of forums etc. If I wouldn't be very motivated to take part then I probably would have given up. After all it's a small effort compared to all the effort that you've put in already Huh, got that off my chest:D Time to ride my bike.

P.S. MTB racing in Ireland is still light years in front of the roadies in that aspect. I just love how the road races appear a few weeks before the event on irishcycling.com where sometimes the only information is "xxx memorial race, contact: Bob, 087.....";D

Hate to ask a silly question,but there seems to be two destinations for this race,Dardoz has the Djouce Middle car park and Morgan has the ballinastoe car park as the destination. Which one is it?? Thanks in advance :)

It's djouce lower car park. It will be sign posted clearly coming from the n11.

when you get to the middle car park and its not there then try the lwr one or you could just follow the sign posts you numpties

and Rattur..all the information has been on IrishXCMTB, This Site, My Blog and Facebook !!
When we announced we were running the XC Nationals we announced that all info would be on www.irishxcmtb.com all the info is there !!
As Damian has said it will be sign posted from the N11 in Kilmacanogue !
You won't be disapointed..
I would urge everybody to sign on and get a couple of pracrtice laps in tomorrow !
