Brian Curran from Zero Gravity broke his leg in 2 places during yesterdays race..Heres wishing you a speedy recovery Brian ( hes getting married in 7 weeks!!)

Where's The Step? Did anyone else notice the sneaky high line at the very start of XTC? I know Max probably followed me onto it on the first lap, but anyone else? There was atleast 5 seconds in it...
I saw both sneaky high lines..thats the way it was taped ! however both those lines were only of use to the really good rider..
WHen I designed this course I wanted places where a deadly rider could make up time..
but they had to be pretty deadly !!
The high line on LSD is a brilliant line the one at the step was always there , you just had to commit ! it completely avoids the roots but its a commitment !
I think somebody else got broken at a test lap.. ankle or something.
Bottom part of the GC was really rough on the last lap, I nearly crashed myself there.
Everything was still 100% rideable even with 200 riders going through it 3 times..amazing

Never even saw it untill me 3rd time round. It was 3 times over the roots for me
Firstly thanks for the well wishes. I’m still in hospital but hope to get out tomorrow, The morphine and abundance of hot nurses is keeping me in high sprits. Plus I’m growing to appreciate, and now definitely have a much clearer understanding of Pilipino culture than I did before this accident.
I need to make a special mention to a couple of people for sacrificing their race on Sunday to help out. A Scottish Guy from Boyne MTB who was first on the scene along with another guy who put me in the recovery position which I don’t know the guys name, and probably the oldest member of Epic a gray haired man racing in Sports, not sure what his name is either. Not to forget Mark Sullivan from Zero Gravity of course, and not to mention the civil defence gentleman.
A huge thank you to you all, you all made a very unpleasant experience bearable. Sorry about talking complete rubbish during the incident, but that gas they give you doesn’t really help the pain, but it does take your mind off it.
Thanks again for everyone’s help. Probably going to be three months before I get back out on the bike, as I’ve a wedding and a honeymoon to deal with, before making my monumental comeback.
