Shed alarmed?

With all the bikes being knicked these days don't forget that outbuildings can be wired into most home alarms with a wireless remote unit. Not that expensive as an add on. Circuit breaker on the door, very simple.

Just got an alarm installed - with the outside shed included - same price as any other room. Adding a full width reinforced bar to lock the shed and locking the bikes inside the shed to
metal hoops sunk into buckets of concrete. Will have to get up quarter of an hour earlier each day just to undo all the locks and turn the alarms off.

I just moved one of the kids outside. Much less valuable than my bikes. And now one less room to heat happy days

I had the guys from Leinster Shutters around today - they're going to put 2 ground locks onto the roller shutter door of my garage - hopefully that'll keep the little ****ers at bay if they decide to have a go! Probably put one of Fergals devices in as well!

Is putting big bad ass locks on the garage door not like saying "hey look at my extra secure garage with lots of valuable stuff in it, come on let's see if you can brake in!" ?

Maybe I should just leave the garage door and gate open and hope that nobody looks in? Seriously, I do know what you mean Max but they will need a power grinder to get in when I'm finished and hopefully it won't come to that! I'm not paying €500 per year for an insurance premium so I'm going to do my best to make the place secure!

I'm just going to pick up some rabid Alsation from the dog pound, tie him to the bike, problem solved. I'll leave him tied to the HT, which should improve my times on Thursday as well.
