Cool race today at bree. Great track especially for novices, why was there not more of you guys all buzzed from riding the blast not giving it a shot?
Some good results today
Mark Tiernan was fastest Epicurian on the hill with a time of 2.07 he would have won masters and is now at home wishing he was a year older and looking forward to kicking some ass next year when he's no longer an elite.
Nat and Joe will need to start building a trophy cabinet to house there two second place trophies for Ladies and Vets.
The minister was raggin the beast on his borrowed bike but failed to make an impression on the all crc podium in masters. Next year we'll be expecting an all Epic podium in masters when Tiernan joins him and his side kick Murphy.
The hairs where also flying in juniours not sure what positions they got against some very tough oposition but they wheren't hanging around.
In seniors there wasn't too many epic riders as gav broke himself in practise so it was left to me to kick some ass and managed a sneaky second after talking to the organisers into a rerun of my second race run.
As always it was cool to see Alan Ayling givin it his all Ken was seen flying on his first dh bike in his first dh race. Ronan our website combobulator was out aswell and i think he got some good photos for the gallery.
Also crash of the day goes to the unluckyest man in mountainbiking Paul Cummins was seen flying all morning and was looking seriously on the pace in elites untill his stem had other ideas and performed an assasination attempt which involved him being shot to the ground at mega high speed and him being sidelined for the day.
Thanks to the few suporters who came down to watch Kelvin and SHAM not sure if there was any others

It was a great day, all our lads were flying. Al results was brilliant, those seniors are very quick. Mark will make an impact is Masters next year, I can't wait. And I am taking 'Crash of the day' the good Mr Maxwell obiously didn't hear the 'story'.
Savage track it was a shame more Epicturians didn't come down as Al said, there were alota keen riders in blastastoe who were missed.
But great to see the regulars all the same, and G'man gav for coming down busted n' all.
Saturdays practice was for the most part dusty and dry with great weather alround, today the heavens opended for a few hours in the morning but by the end of the first run and into the second the sun was egar to make an apperance.
Well done to all who travelled down and raced, the track was a good one for people interested trying out DH... (Don't say we didn't tell you)
For those those who want another chance the last round of the season is next weekend in White-horse in Waterford, (about 2hours away) and its gonna be a cracker, if youre not into pedaling then this is gonna be the one for you!
I saw the Ministers crash, a 9.7 mid-air dismount - interesting choice.

I'm off now the forge a fake I.D for next weeks race!
One bone? You'll have to break more that that before you will get sympathy here young lad. And wrists and breaks are for girls, harden the feck up. And go back and sort out that tree, it laughing at you as we type. In the forest, with all the other tree, having a good of laugh. You need to go back and show it a thing or two.
I havn't figures out wheather it was Duggan or Murphy who paid off Killian, but I'll find out, and then there will be one of those Reckonin things.
now now boys less of the handbags. He wasn't the only one giving you stick for your no show. Hone and gumshield where looking for you to point out the braking points. When we told them you wheren't comming they where very dissapointed and went home.
i haven't felt a buzz like that in a long time. Although pretty jacked at the bottom i was on a high from the 2 runs, absolute class, i can't remember the last time i felt such a rush. Practice is one thing but when it comes to race time self preservation seems to become less of a priority, i surprised myself...
Great to watch the elites race and the juniors, fkin hell they can tear it. Both really inspirational.
It was deadly to see all the epic heads ripping it up. I got some photos but they are on someone elses camera!! Well done to Al and Mark they were on fire on the day. Pity about Cummins he demolished seniors last year
