Moycullen Bike Works are organising a skills weekend on the 27th and 28th of November in Moycullen in Galway. They have built a deadly pump track, and will have an AIRBAG to practice doing tricks and skills on the Saturday (woo AIRBAG!).
On the Sunday they are putting on an XC race nearby in Rosscahill which has nice technical trails, and would be great fun for all types of racers.
It would great to see loads of EPIC members down for the weekend, and it is only a two and a bit hour drive from Dublin. If you want more info, give Gary a shout on info@mbikeworks.ie.
Rosscahill is a good little spot. Myself and Rossconi attended a race there a couple of years ago, on a great little course designed by Fran Kearns, the sort of course that would shame a good few courses that have apparently been worthy of an NPS.
Yeah was talking to Gary about this a couple of weeks ago when I was down, it would be great to have a good showing from the jackeens for this, in fairness to Gary he travels the country to other peoples events and it would be good to support him on this one!!!
And the pump track is deadly, although it's missing the obligatory couch!

Saturday 11 AM til 9PM (competitions after dark)
Sunday 11 AM til 4PM

Pricing
Pump Track only: €10 annual membership
Airbag: €25 per day or €45 for both days
If you are under 16 you must have a signed parental consent form or you will not be allowed to participate.

MTB Coaching – Rosscahill
Saturday – Two hour sessions probably starting at 10AM. Sessions for beginner, intermediate and advanced.
MTB Race Sunday 28th – Rosscahill Race trail will be marked out on Saturday.
Connaught League Race – nearly all singletrack. Sign on at 10AM, racing from 11AM.
No parking at forest entrance – please follow signs.
The coarse is very good,
Nice and technical with some fast flowing bits, No ****e climbs or any of that jazz.
Hopefully it stays dry for the weekend.
Id say there will be a good turn out on Sunday for the race the last few rounds have had on average of 50 people there.
