That was a great little spin..due to multiple hangovers and the weather we went to the Leadmines. the spin was great, only me, Alfie, Damo, Micky, Andrew,Eamon,Luke,Oz,Ronan and JohnnyD..enough for a deadly spin.
However, there were a couple of notable exceptions today.
This is not good, if you aim to be on the savage spins starting next week don't expect to be waited for, i gave you enough warning and more encouragement than you deserved.
even with the hangovers todays spin was brisk enough.

That was a class spin, glad we didn't go the road to Djouce, Leadmines was great, no slomp or ice, sunny morning and trails in great nick. Even the bike and gear was clean afterwards and a bit of crack in Palmers too. The ' Go Pro ' is a bit 'go amatuer' alot of distortion on play back. Descent off Katys is 272Mb so you wont be seeing it here either.
h Katy Gollagher covered in Ice and snow on 100mm Travel with legend like Damo and Alfie ahhhh nearly cured my hangover ....magnificent descent !! the big off camber slab covered in Ice was a nice touch !
Some people quit and die a little bit every day..but not the real hardcore XC riders of EPICmtb..
we just get younger faster and more deadly..
I enjoyed that spin. Legs were a bit slow and the lungs were gasping but what the heck. down off katys is great worth that climb up. the icy roots are worse than wet ones! There were a few full body dabs..... See you all tuesday night.
Was a bit later starting today so I thought a spin around the leadmines would be good. Was following a set of tracks most of the way, but didn't realise it was you guys. Probably better off, it would have been too cold for you to be waiting up. Lovely day for it though :)
