Another EPIC DH Day - 31 December Cloon

Since we got such a good bunch last time we thought we would do it again.

All welcome, even skinny people on skinny bikes, newbies, oldies, fatties the lot. We will be doing run's on the two tracks from 10:00.

If Cloon is still under three foot of snow we might postpone, but its going to thaw, so it will be grand.
As much as I'd like to go I have to go to work ! have the craic and stay upright !
Great fun on the hardtail!

This ones aimed squarely at me, cheers.

Not mentioning ending up on my nat king cole trying to follow someones line then have Bren sliding in (and off) behind me on his chain reaction sponsored ride.

Big thanks to all again for organising the last one and the Guru Cummins training session. Which is at core the message "just do it, do it again and see what happens"
Thanks to everyone who turned up. Ended up with a fairly good gang of people.

I got a good few e-mail addresses from people who wated more info about signing up. If I didn't get one from you and you want some more info the ether PM you e-mail or mobile or send a mail to seanherlihy38@gmail.com

We are heading out on the Small bikes this Sunday. Anyone who was out today is more than welcome to come along. 10:00 in the car park of The Blue Light pub.

You will have to have a bike that you can pedal up hills, and be self sufficient, that is have foot, water, rain gear a spare tube and the means to fix minor mechanicals.

The pace won't be hard though, the lad in charge of the pace is on crutches so it should be grand.

If you are not sure about it or want more in call Sean (087 9854445).

I developed a nice limp after that you made a nice road block falling in that berm and the brown ice did the rest :) It was sketchy out that day so unpridictable. Fun though.
Conditons were much better today. Big crowd out. You'd be forgiven for thinking you were at a winter league.
Class day today lads, cheers for organising it, was like a practice day at a race, met some sound lads!
Will Defo go again,

Mark
Please note that the meeting place for this Sunday's small bike spin has changed to the car park of The Blue Light pub.
