Has anyone used Halford's H.P.P.W??
Is the pressure enough to clean the bike straight after a spin??
I'm aware of the Brand 12v car washer, roughly 100euro and this is 30euro.
I got one, not sure if its the halfords one. Not great. You're better of spending the cash on a 12v washer. You can have mine for nothing if you want to try it.
Yeah I got a Hozeloc one in woodies (The cheaper woodies one wasn't air tight when I got home) got it to spray chemicals so it's similar to the halfords one there bar the colour or something, no not great pressure, but it'll take the heavy muck off and it's quiet, I usually have to fill it twice to clean a bike, and even then, it's not really that clean, but it's only going to get dirty again so feck it, this seems to do the job for me anyway, only dug it out of the shed to clean the bike after reading the MAD thread there. (It's either this or the noisy paint spray gun from lidl)
I used a garden sprayer a few times. The big one you put on your back. Only really because I already had one lying there and i was looking for something to get the muck of the DH bike in between runs. It kinda worked but wasn't great.
I got a Mobi washer a while back and it's no comparison. Holds enough to wash the bike and decent pressure for what it is. Well worth the extra money.
eh..the Mobi is your only man..I should have them soon at a special deal for EPICmtb/Dh members !!
don't waste your time with those ridiculous pump sprays !! does anybody remember Tim cleaning his bike !!

I have the battery one aswell and used it off the van supply the last day and it was super powerful, made me wonder why I bothered with the battery model at all. Just get the 12v one, save yourself â¬50.

Can't agree with you there Brian, mine works great! It's handy to be able to clean the bike away from the car and in the garden at home!
Well I'm with you Richard, the battery Mobi ones are very handy for washing the bike anywhere, although Andy got a new battery washer(not sure what brand) and you can just take the battery out very easily for charging inside which might be handier than charging the whole Mobi one inside, although I have power in my shed so doesn't worry me too much..

Too late, I already got a roasting for cooking the books on the price of the new bike.
And I'm not saying that the battery mode isn't good, it's just that the 12v seemed more powerful, could be a case of the batteries needing conditioning.
