Card fraud pt2

So, today I get my statement, and €2500 on it from around Dublin. Pain in the arse...
Anyway, I had used it in CRC just before the big fraud thing, but the fact it was used in Dublin leads me to think my details were stolen closer to home...
The only other place I used my card in the last 2 months was to pay my Licence to CI, and online bike entries (paypal). Paypal are in another country, I presume, so it might be coincidence it was used in Dublin. Anyone any ideas? I don't want to accuse CRC, nor CI, but it's either them or Paypal.

Another frustrating thing... It was used to stay in travellodge Ballymun, to unclamp a car in Dublin, and twice in a medical centre in dublin. none of them will give me details of who used it. They'll take my money, but won't tell me what for. Secure my arse.
The interesting one there is the medical centres - the hotel and clampers are (presumably) online/phone transactions, but the medical one might be a POS transaction, which raises the game a bit requiring a reproduction of the card, and possibly the other authorisation procedure (chip&pin?)
I'd be taking that one straight to the Garda - most medical centres taking credit cards would surely have CCTV, as would the Travelodge in Ballymun. And the clampers must have a record of the car they clamped.

The fact that it is in Dublin wouldn't necessarily rule out CRC, plenty of people got stung for other local stuff, UCI tickets and phone credit and such.
Paypal do have a big Dublin operation btw, but I'd be looking at CRC first.

Interesting that the CC fraud is local
Seems like someone is printing out or able to see the number on screen or on file rather than advanced international skimming operations

It also raises the question of security for paying for our mtb races on line .

Tip: you should never list your card details on a email either
Scanning software roams the internet to pick up these sequences of numbers..
PDF the details and attach to email instead
