Now, this is for kids without stabilizers and up to 12 years of Age !!
A helmet is an absolute requirement.
gloves would be a great idea if you have them.
Parents..make sure they have a drink with them !! or you have it.
It will only be an hour long.
We start off with a bit of a skills session, then we do a short spin and throw in a couple of skills sessions.
my email is richie.byrne@gmail.com and I will answer any questions you have.
remember this is not structured training. Its getting kids used to bikes and becoming comfortable and safe on them.
A BMX is the ideal bike for these ! you absolutely do not need to be a member of EPIC for these.

Another great evening - thanks Richie! Sam had a ball again, he's really enjoying himself! He insisted on going out on Wednesday to practice .... amazing what a bit of competition does!
Hey...that was deadly..I was a bit concerned after the rain, One of Dylans kids snotted himself straight away ! ouch..we had a few more spills including Lucas , doing a James Bond as Sophie put it but he was ok !
Fair play to the kids and the parents ! Its real hard to find the right happy medium, I'm thinking about these spins straight after the last one.
SOme of the kids are absolutely amazing but some are a little bit too little still ! but they are brilliant.
We'll have to split them up a little after we do our warm ups and rejoin at the end.
Some of them are very eager and I want to keep that going and some are a bit timid and a little too little yet but all of them are really good and talented !!
I am very impressed but bear with me and keep supporting this and we'll get it right, after all I've spent the last 20 years trying to create hardcases out of middle aged men and women and while I've tried and failed with this before, i think I have the right approach now.
Some craic with the mini blast down the park !
Thanks
That was brilliant! Erica had a ball, loved doing the mini drop. Wasn't sure if she would be able for it but she loved it.
Great for giving the kids confidence on there bikes. The mini blast was deadly.
