What a day yesterday, first a great tour of 3 Rock with Smithers, great gang out, then on to the Demo day we we lost most of the group to sexy bikes and icecreams. Irelands finest shops showing off there lovely machines with great vibes from all the enthusiastic punters. Then back home, grab the kids and off to DLR Activate8 bike day in Shankill park, lovely sunshine, kids on bikes everywhere. Niall and Tarja had an MTB track and skills area which my two girls couldnât get enough of, Tarja was great working skills with Shona. The bikes got jazzed up the the Bling tent, the kids made a smoothie by pedaling a bike, then a 2km bike treasure hunt with my 3 years old on her balance bike, which is about 10km for those little legs. Have to say it was a super event and a credit to whoever put it together.
Then back home, the kids rode the bikes some more around with tired Panda eyes, then Shona and I spent a while cleaning and polishing her bike in the sunshine. Just a fantastic day on 2 wheels.
