Goober watch !!

well..due to my recent self appointment as National Irish mountainbiking coach of Ireland I have been riding around the Ticknock trails a lot and I have seen some funny sh1t..
lets use this thread to point and laugh at the less fortunate than ourselves who have been blessed with fitness and great mtb dress sense.
Or brains !!
Tonight I saw a fine spectacle of a man..blipping along the upper section of Metro with his helmet and shin and kneepads flapping about behind in his bag.
I'm praying for the day I come across one of these fools impaled on a rock !!!
I had no idea that you couldn't hurt yourself going uphill !!
OMG, I saw a very scary man last week with what looked like hot pants on, a Daisy dukes of hazard belly top on and a bottle of water stuffed down the back of his arse crack which was in plain sight for everyone to see brrrrrrrrr gives me the chilly willy's thinking about it.
My question is ............ does he not look in the mirro or have anyone in his life that would slap him and tell him NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO your not going out like that NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO you like like a feckin lunny with hot pants on out to scare people....... jeeeeeeeeeesus.
Prize at the AGM for best picture captured.
I seen that guy as well !! we should have a goober day out up there some Sunday..Speedos and fake tan !!
Oh my eyes are burning, the thought of us lot in speedo's.......well more so me, jeasus that would fun/sore/scary all in one spin.

Here leave my legs out of this! It's the guys in lycra and body armour that do my head in (stand up there Terry!)
a roadie "cycle to work schemer" yesterday on the n11. the yellow jacket flaping, with the lycra cycle shorts and the crack of his arse showing out the top of them, jebus that was some funny sh1t
seriously though..whats with the arse cracks ? Do they really need to be on show..I don't like looking at them even on women..i would be very concious exposing mine..i'd sooner expose my flute..
and hotpants..and baggies that are too big..the list goes on.
Like bad facial hair ( Fuzzy) !!

Haha this is hilarious cos i remember as a kid seeing peter buggle wear some seriously 'fashionable' outfits while racing MX around europe in his hay day before he became a xc machine.
There is defo some funny sights up there recently. My favourite is the 'goober-inexperientus' i.e. the one who rides to the top slowly but when you come up behind them on the fireroad they start sprinting cos they think its a race or that they we show you how its done and on the dh bits they run outta brakes then talent and you have to pick them up off the ground.
Remember thou we all started somewhere, sure i wanted to be world champion once...hahaha. Once had a guy follow me down that cliff trail at the bottom of 3rock once. He only lasted 5 seconds and i had to stop and go back to see if he was ok.
They even seem to be getting sick of the metro now and try follow you where you go.
I've got one to add too - on my favourite hill repeats circuit (Cruagh bridge to bridge road) I frequently see an odd-looking guy: he wears dark tracksuit bottoms, T-shirt and a yellow high-vis vest and rides an old heavy looking commuter type bike....
I've seen him first a few years ago when I started proper hill repeats training and still see him now, same bike, same attire, but he actually has gotten decently fast up the hill. But what I find funny is that there's been no evolution in his cycling dress sense (I mean seriously, tracksuit bottoms??? - how can anyone even cycle in TSBs?) or in his bike - I'd say if he was put on one of Ryan's bike in a skinsuit, he'd be a rocket!
I seen a bunch of lads in djouce recently with babyshop clothing... WTF?
They were quite handy though.... even the one going dutdutblinkblink....
