If you wish to join Epic for 2011 then you need to attend this membership evening to join up. This will be the only chance to do so this year. So it is important that you attend otherwise you will miss out on all the craic we have in Epicâ¦.
And this means EVERYONE..
To join you will need the following:
1. Have applied for a CI licence with Epic. (this will be approved by me as Club Secretary)
2. A completed Membership form with the â¬20 fee.
3. Ordered at least a club jersey. (see club gear post for details)
Also on this night we will be taking the final order with money for the club gear. I will post to provide the ordering details.
if you cannot make the members night (something that will be seriously frowned upon) then it is up to you to make sure that you have met all these criteria before the members night as membership for 2011 will be closed after the 10th of february NO EXCEPTIONS
Ok, attached is a membership form for 2011, if you can print it off and complete for the membership night that would be very helpful.
If you need to complete the form early and give to me on a spin thats ok, but IMPORTANTLY make sure its in an Envelope, with the 20 euros, so things don't get lost.
Now, we've actually reached a significant level of Membership.
So get yourselves sorted before next week. If you don't, you'll lose access to spins, the Members forum and the Club league.
My policy is that if you leave the Club ( unless it makes geographical sense to do so) then you lose the privilege I personally extend to Members of other CI clubs to enjoy the benefits of EPIC Membership.
In my opinion we have enough members but the Committee has over ruled me !
However, don't think you can jump to EPICdh and be the same lazy waster there, they only want Committed riders/members too.
So you have a week or the door closes.

Remember to bring the club gear orders to the membership night. Even if you emailed/PM'ed me before with your sizes I still need cash and the order this Thursday.
We are really looking for more ladies to Join and juniors and Youth riders. While we are primarily an XCracing club now, we have a strong contingent of Freeride Style members who go out every week.
not to mention several road members and BMX riders
And not all the Downhillers left to join EPICdh.
So if you are keen to join, want to join and really want to get stuck in to being part of the best MTB Club in the World , turn up ,

Even though Club membership officially closed on Thursday evening, we are always open to new / rejoining members, provided they want to race XC under our name, buy club gear and get a CI license.
We're particularly interested in ladies and junior riders.
John Damage runs spins every Saturday as does Jay Kenna on Sundays ( Sprocket)
If you are interested in joining then do 4 of these spins and we'll open up Club Membership to you.
Unless advised otherwise this is the route you need to take. EPIC spins can involve over 30 people and we can't manage riders without a high level of competence.
