John took a brilliant win at the Falling Leaves Classic today on a tough course. It was 6 laps totaling 85km with a hard climb in the middle. The speed was high as a break went away early on, the pressure was on and the pace was kept high, the break got caught on the last lap and John tried a few attacks on the main road before the finish however nothing stuck, so it came down to a bunch sprint, the finish was on a slight uphill drag. John was in about 7th at the 125/150m however he kicked and was passing people like they were standing still, he just got the final guy on the line to take the win. Really delighted for him and EPIC Road well deserved, congratulations again John, brilliant result.
We won't talk about my race, me and climbs are not friends, got shelled on the 4th lap on the climb, too much cake I think!!

Thanks for the congratulations. Now that I'm back to the land of the living after night shift, I saw the results of the Bull Raid. Wow, brillant results from Ger (ye mad thing), Carol+ Richie and Damo.
It's a great way to round off the season.
