Quick report, the stage started fast, very fast, with me seating in the bunch at 50-60 kph and comfortable, we turned off the main road onto a road with a few drags, it really was lined out at around 60kph then into a 90 bend and bang rear wheel puncture, I waited for a wheel as the whole race passed, it took around 3-4 mins to get a wheel, this was at the 18km mark with 130km left to race, I tried to get back on but not a chance, but with a little help from a car I did get back onto a group of around 12, we just rode steady to the finish, tired now but suprisely happy with today as Im learning each race I do, and still have 2 days racing left, this might change after tomorrows stage though. Thanks to Colm for the support on the 2nd kom, its nice the have people cheering you on. No results yet, but Adam Armstrong won, Ryan around 7/8th. I'll update again tomorrow.

I was out on a road bike today and was thinking of you (very romantic I know!), not so long to RAS so just enjoy yourself there and stay out of trouble! I'm getting my pompons ready for Skerries already!
Max you are a major homo for the road ! the first dry day for ages and you go on the road..you are a hopeless case !
It was lovely actually, out to Greystones for coffee and banana cake and back home through Red Lane.... jesus I've never cycled up that before, painful!
Bad luck with the puncture Morty, hope you had better luck yesterday and have a good one today! The pace was savage up Ballymacilroy hill so fair play to you, you were flyin!!
