Just to say Morty,I have today off work and wanted to go and see you race,till I saw you was in Donegal!! So thats out,what with the club race later.But I've been reading youre reports,and later you will be typing on here and telling us how the 'Hills of Donegal' were'nt that bad.All the best mate,the finish in Skerries ain't too far away now.

Well if the devil had a holiday home in Buncrana the road up to it would be what stage 5 of the RAS was, 7 KOM the first after 31km that went on for 10km not too bad but with the speed and wind again it was lined out the bunch did split but got back together, I was at the sharp end knowing this could happen, and if the pressure was kept on it would have never got back together and it would have being a long day for those left behind. Again damage limitation today, hills are not my thing, nothing really happened until the 110km mark where in the next 30km there was 5 KOM, at this point it just went to bits with bodies as far as the eye could see I got over the 2 cat but was swinging and couldnt think straight, I thought it was mamore gap the cat 1, oh no I was in for a surprise, the group I was in rode steady to the gap, then this 20% got up and decided it did not cant to let me pass, I had a 39*28 and it wasnt enough, there was crowds of people, I was jumping on the pedal bobbing up and down like a mental patient doing about 6kph, which RAS handy as people were able to put mini cans of coke and water in back pocket which was a godsend, I shared these with a dutch pro and in return he gave me encouragement as he knew I was on my limit, after the top we still had another KOM but little groups formed and people panioed in picking up riders and others catching us, Im half the day is over, dont know where I finished and dont care, tomorrow is another day like today, but im not looking at the route till later. Update tomorrow
