feckin eejits..I've abandoned both road and CX !! there will be a €2.75 gift token for Golden Discs for everybody who abandons the road for Gravity Enduro racing !
(just to clarify, I won the A3 race). The race itself was all in with the A3's getting a 2 minute head start. Myself and 5 others got away on the first lap of 13.
We were then joined by 3 juniors. Midway it pissed rain. The combine harvester charity event was held on the circuit the day before. The result was a road surface like black ice..absolutly lethal. There were bodies everywhere , with the ambulance service flat out.
I ended up in some oul one's garden, but managed to avoid the flowers and regain contact with the lead group.
With further casulties, the organisers reduced the laps. A group of chasing A1's caught us with 2 laps remaining, which ended up in a suiside group gallop.
I was glad to win and finish (alive!).
Well done John, you made it sound like Ben Hur, unlike Morty who makes road racing sound like getting your teeth pulled and your balls slapped or Lynchy who makes it sound like Bridge or table tennis..I tried it 3 times but it wasn't for me , none of the ****ers would wait for me !!
