I know I shouldn't get so excited about a Cross race but that was just ****in' brilliant! A really technical, sketchy course which was perfect for mountain-bikers with some hairy drops and wet roots everywhere!
Weather was cold but sunny until just after the A race when the rain arrived!
DOK went well in the Bs finishing well up in the top 10 (I think?). No results yet but I'm pretty sure I was in the top half with Ronan a bit behind me - I was chasing him for a while and tried not to smile when he fell off and I got through! Dave "The Banger" Lawless won the Bs which wasn't a huge surprise but I'm really pleased for him ..... and at least I won't to race against him again!
Robin won the As by a mile ... an incredibly dominant display! Morty was out and going well despite his lack of training and Micky really enjoyed himself and did really well for his first time on a Cross bike and in the A race too!

another great cx race today. fair play team worc. loved the new course features added this year. loads of fun bailing up and down those hills. managed to snot myself on a nothing corner, grrr, must've been richard breathing down my neck. brain malfunction followed that spill trying to fix brake cables as the field cycling by. and that was the end of any close racing for today
Great course again today, there is so much in St Anne's, the lads managed to change the course from last January and still found more features to keep things 'interesting' it seemed that there was always something to keep you concentrated, I ended up 10th and have to be happy with that. Its been a really great series and thanks to all the WORC fellows for their fantastic efforts this autumn... thankfully this deluge held off until it was all over.
