That's better!!!
B race full would hardly pass off as a B Junior or a as a B Lady would I ? maybe with the beard off ? might have the school tie some where or maybe a bit of cross dressing is called for

Think I'll shave my legs and go in the ladies b race. Don't fancy going in the A race in my first cx race!
Good man Mickkky!

Could do the A race, just try hold onto the back of the race, you'll get about 4 or 5 laps in anyways before you get lapped.
Have just rechecked sign on places now available in B race ,a few so sign up now have to just practice the board jumping and running now

Hope your'e all ready for it, plenty of getting used to no-suspension and narrow tyres?

For the first race there's usually only one set of boards, and one run up.. Practice your fast starts as this race, even in the B's usually kicks up to 40kph at the start, slowing rapidly as you hit the grass, the ground is quite smooth, only a bumpy section at the back of the course...

Get the first couple of laps in as fast as you can, as in eyes popping out of your head, and sit into a good pace for the remainder.

What the feck did I just sign up for?
Cyclocross!

V different to road or XC...

Road racing you can get into a group and draft, just keep moving around to find shelter...
XC you get a bit of a rest on the downhill sections.

CX there's no drafting, and no resting...

The races are short, usually 1 hour so there could be 60 seconds gap between first place and 15th...
well this is going to be a different sort of pain! I am only slightly comforted by Robin's comment that "It's a good sort of pain".
