Well done Colm and Brendan, what were the conditions like? I had planned on going but could'nt shake off a cough/cold.
That's a good way to round off the year ,fair play.
First time racing Punchestown cx and really enjoyed it.
Great varied course with couple of nice kickers & a small hurdle, all built around horse jumping features which was cool.
Course was in great shape considering all the rain, only one mucky section nicely placed right before the two climbs and the steep run up which really killed the legs on the last few laps.
I enjoyed the race, typical cx, real close racing throughout with some fierce battles for position, can't beat it!!
I got myself into third with half a lap to go & then died on the last muddy section to come in 5th overall & first vet, so all in all a great days racing.
Well done to Sean and the boys for a great series and not forgetting the free beer, nice one lads!
