Is there any confirmed cx races on this year?

Kinning GP next week.

8 Leinster league races, Ulster and Munster leagues tbc. No Worc series this year.

There is plenty going on behind the scenes to try get cx racing up and running. Hopefully it will all come to pass but obviously theres lots of uncertainty and risk for the organisers. Some clubs are better positioned (they have a venue at no or low cost) so hopefully they will proceed. If current restrictions (Level 2) prevail it would mean a very different type of event, i.e. turn up, race, leave. No hanging around - this is what Kinning GP looks like, i.e. not turning up in the morning, hanging around for the day etc.

As the fb post says, this looks cool. Cu chulainn cx race planned for Oct 18th. Dublin level 3 to be reviewed by government on Oct 9th.

Ok, will edit that date, so no confusion. Great to see a custom built track, fair play to crew up there. Looking forward to trying it out, if not this year, then some day

Well, thats it confirmed. Racing off the cards for October.

On the upside, club spins are still allowed. And the 5km rule wasnt brought back. Theres talk of Covid numbers stabilizing in Dublin. Fingers crossed for that
