Racing this weekend
I went down to do the "FALLING LEAVES” CLASSIC in Arklow on Sunday and wished I stayed in bed, the course over 4 laps of a 20Km lap with one long climb of about 6 -8Km in the middle, the pace from the off was quick and with the climb coming after only 1 km from the start everyone felt it, so much so that a few just turned around and cycled back to there cars. I got over the climb on the first lap but the next two I drop off the back but was able to get on with some quick decending, on the last lap I hug deep and stayed with the bunch, then happy days up for the sprint and came 8th across the line. These races are great for training and with only 3 left hopfully we can see some more EPIC jerseys
