National B cycle champs were on in Waterford on Sunday, the course was 5 laps of 21Km, 105Km in total, there were 3 hard drags/climbs on the course, from the start is was a fast pace and the average for the race was just under 42KPH. I had a good day following the right moves and using the head rather then the legs a bit more, but nothing got away, I set myself up well coming into the fast few km but as the sprint wound up I cramped and rolled across the line. In all a good day, pictures follow the link below. One race left and then a good winter of MTB'ing.
