Saturday 9th April - Drogheda?

The only race I can see on next Saturday is the Peter Bidwell Memorial in Drogheda at 5.30pm? Anyone interested in heading down (up!) to it?

I think that's a crit Rich, there's a road race on the Sunday though: Coombes Conor Memorial

No it's definately a road race according to the calender but I might try and ride the mtb on the Saturday and do the race on the Sunday!

Right o, think il do the same, an evening race doesn't really fit in with my boozing so I reckon Il go for the Sunday.

I may do Saturday and Sunday. Deffo doing Sunday. I'd like to see whats its like if (when) the A1's catch us on Saturday.

feckin deadly sh1t !!! i'm gutted i'm missing these road races !! I expect to see you white line riders on Saturdays MTB spin !!

According to IrishCycling.com,the Sunday race is a combined A3/A4 race,5 laps of a 14km circuit,70km total.No walk in the park I'd think!!

Okay so I've removed the peak from my helmet and I'm gonna head up and give this ago, got out on the road bike this evening for the first time in 2 months and did 50km to get back into the swing of things. Is there any other roadie etiquette I need to know? Should you have mudguards on if it's a wet race? Is there a feed zone or do I need to carry two bottles on the bike?
