The Green Mile

I have a question....

I never used the Green Mile at all over the years, I knew it was there but it never made into my brain GPS... until a while back there I decided I would because it would mean that I could pedal back up the hill rather than have to walk the top part of the WW...

Anyway....

I went up the steep grassy overgrown bit with the sniper green rocks hiding under the bushes, got to a small clearing or about 10 metres (there was a left turn, hairpin back) I went across the little clearing to the edge of the trees and found a little piece of paper hanging in the tree that said private property, so I thought it must be the left I passed, I followed it instead, came out at a ruin, crossed a little stream and I was back in Curtlestown.... dang

So, here's my question, should I have gone straight on passed the piece of paper ?

Actually now that I read that it's obvious that I should have gone on straight..... but then what

The Dream Mile is what I think you mean, It is actually private property, But if you meet the owner (Joe), And don't try and argue with him about it being a Right of Way or anything, He is quiet cooperative and allows some MTB'ers to pass through if you ask politly. He was having trouble with illegal 4x4 jeeps going over his land a while ago, And was asking me for help in catching them, So we could gain Kudos if we help him by Dobbing them in.
When your on the Dream mile, It continues for about a mile till it gets to what looks like a house thats being rebuilt, You go accross a wall and turn left into the wood where you follow a single track to a fire road, This is where you can go left around the side of prince willies, Or going right down the fire road to Killmalin and then on Enniskerry
The Green Mile is over on the side of Tibradden nead the Daniel O Connel Rock in upper Glen Cullen.

Green / Dream... not sure... I thought it was the other way around
