Daggetts re-opened

The MAD doozers were fierce busy over the weekend, amongst other new stuff we've now re-opened what was Daggetts - some bits are familiar, some are new but it's fast, dirty, sliddery sketchy craic.

It goes all the way from the Coillte trail down to the fireroad below it
When you are on the Coillte trail heading in the direction of the Sugarloaf, after passing the masts, look out on the left for a boulder with one granite rock and two little hardcore rocks on top of it - turn in left there and follow it down the gulley - it crosses one firebreak - straight over it, then turn right onto the next firebreak - then look out on your left after 30/40 yards for a small hump which drops you onto the lower section of the trail

This trail then splits - keeping left at the split gives you a fierce sketchy descent where you go faster with the brakes on than off, down a spooky rock garden and over the rock bridge at the fallen tree onto the fireroad

Keeping straight on at the previous split brings you down a sliddery-shnake trail and pops you out down a little bit from the other exit.

ah - when we get fed-up we usually end up putting new bits in and we're not fed-up anymore - it's a vicious circle I tell ya!

is this what we call "fergal's fellujah 1 and 2" with 2 being to trail with the great bomb holes!

No I think that's something nearer to the aerials. The Fellujah 1 starts near the boggy descent of 2rock, I'm not sure what's the real name of it is.

fellujah 1 starts left off the collite trail, just past the masts heading towards the sugar loaf, we just come at it from the the two rock direction, thats why i'm wondering is it the same.

Closest but not right. I think it must go down to the and cross over surf and turf.

is it near any rocks and sh2t ?

Great trail! First time for me on it...

Only a few metres up on the left when you come through the chicane part of metro2, nice n fast all fully rideable...when you get down to the 2nd half you can take a left down the sliddery slidey section, or the right which is the best part...then out onto the fireroad...

...back up the fireroad towards the end of the Metro2 trail and hang a left into "Fellujah 1" Well....its great! Lots of berm's, Very Flowy and with a steep drop on one section where you have to aim your bike between two tree's and hope for the best! Then back onto the usual trail and out onto the lower fireroad..
