Start times for round 1

Now, I haven't the energy and I cant be arsed working it out to the nearest decimal place, suck it up for this one and the next one will be right.
Now I am the starter for tomorrow night as I am between race bikes at the moment.



Now as tomorrow is round 1 your start group is the one on the right..ok
I will stagger you in the group to make it fun but do not even try to whinge at me or I add a minute to your start time, round 1 is always going to be tricky..some of you are going sh1t and some of you are flying.
Direct your complaints to Richard Lynch because he was too chicken to do this this year, Graham Hand because he was bullied in to doing it, Alfie for not banning me off the forum when he had a chance and the offroad Commission backstabbers for making me hate them and causing Fergal to abandon us.. so if you get a sh1t handicap don't blame me, who else even has a remote idea who is going well and who isn't ! if you are left off the list blame all of the above because even doing that list was a giant pain in the arse ! and I had to do it after a 12 hour day in the Superstore ! However I will add you if I get a chance..just bear in mind who you normally ride with !

Bike's clean, new chain, cassette and tyres .... physically ready to go but mentally ..... don't know whether I'm dying for it or dreading it!

I have a new tire for tonight Don - I'm hoping it gets a few laughs - A maxxis Larsen TT - 1.9- looks like a cross tyre-
Have you seen this? Do you know about this? Have it at 50PSI too! (true story)

I am not on it so will just turn up and go with whoever.

My bike is not clean my tires are not new, I feel very tired thinking about this race, but i'm going to do my best to catch that Lynch fella 5mins buddy, 5 mins. lets strava the bejeasus outa of it tonight.

Well folks I got no number & no start time as yet,but my bike is clean so I'll be there regardless.

Is it the form to park in Palmers and pedal or do we usually park closer to the course ?

A real leap of faith there Don! Given the current times I just couldn't justify €100 for 2 Ignitors and found Richie's 2 for €50 Nobby Nic Evo offer too good to resist! The fitting experience was far from reassuring - couldn't get them to seat with a track pump so had to use CO2 and then the sealant started to come out ..... through the sidewalls of the tyre!!! However the Schwalbe site was very reassuring and after following their instructions and saying a few prayers they seem to have sealed now. Must say that they are incredibly light (when compared to UST Ignitors) so assuming the sidewalls don't disintergrate in half an hour they may just give me a few seconds a lap and I might finally get a decent time on the Club Course!! But looking at the weather ..... not tonight!!!


5 minutes ...... sure I'd need that every lap to stay ahead of you!!!

The "form" is definately to park in Palmers and cycle up! With the exception of timers/starters parking at the Leadmines is a disqualification offence!!!

Ahh Schwalbes. The fastest, lightest rolling tyre around, nothing will get you to the location of your puncture faster.
