Thanks timers, ****ing hell yeah, Paddy flew up that ******* hill like a pro, luckily enough I got out of his way.....left me in the dust before you left me in the dust too on the other not nearly as bad hill with your chatting tactics....hahahah....great night racing, think that was the driest it's been up there so far which I wasn't expecting as it was pissing down the last few days....thanks for cheering us on Richie...that always helps...jaysus that was thirsty work though...one bottle of water is not enough for me to ration out over the race....I don't know how you race without water Colm.....you must've been a camel in a previous life.
Really enjoyed it, regardless of my proxy day, chasing my tail. It's always worth your while racing, best of luck to everyone over the weekend and big thanks to timers, and big thanks to jack for a deadly dice for a few laps, he's so strong on the climbs, but the technical stuff saves my life. I love that last night, the full suss is the way forward for me I reckon. That carbon hardtail I have never came with instructions so its fair to say that I cant ride the poxy yoke.
Shame about the small turnout though.

A great two lap race with Terry, was not having my day on the tech stuff, passed the other Terry and straight away off into a tree, so just lost to much ground on nipples...so ending up with a crap third lap, but still a great evening biking.
I started with 3 young fellas whose combined ages I would say are comfortably less than mine! Needless to say they disappeared shortly afterwards! Fantastic to see the young guys out and giving it loads! Personally finding it tough going at the moment ... just don't seem to be going very well! The track was in better nick than we've seen for weeks.

I started my race with Northie Colm,rode my 3 laps with him,and crossed the finish line 1 second behind him,as he passed me and piped me to the post!!Was a great race,and its the best club race I've done all year ,laptime's quicker too .Thanks to the timers/starter and to Richie and a very funny Smithers!!
