As I cant get up to the Enduro champs tomorrow myself and John Cantillon (Canto) went to Navan this evening and entered an A4 race in Kilmessin run by Navan CC.
It was only a short race of about 40km with 3laps of a flat circuit. It was fast with the race over in less than an hour. We both held on in the bunch but John was unlucky to have a fall with about 1 km to go. Lucky he is ok and has nothing worse than a bruised shoulder.
I managed to stay with the bunch till the sprint at the end and picked up a 3rd place finish in A4 for my troubles.
Got my picture taken with my EpicMTB hoodie so not a wasted journey.

I was right behind you and got my wheel clipped for the second time which put me in the ditch, going well up to then. Very tight course, not much room to move and a nervy bunch at times. still great that you were up there.
CAn anyone tell me what do do with my buckled rear wheel,? not up to surveying the damage till tomorrow
Yeah it was deadly to have two Epic jerseys up near the front of the bunch for the whole race.
Bring your wheel to Alfie and let him do his bike voodoo on it.
