That's deadly stuff. I'm delighted. I enjoyed every wet minute of it. I had intended in racing the nps this year but didnt even manage one race so the league was a great way of getting fitter and having the racing buzz every week. I'm not sure how many years the league is running but it's the best way for an average rider like me to improve bit by bit and really enjoy themselves. If you don't race this you are really missing out.
For a club to manage as many riders to turnout in the poxy conditions week after week this year is a great testament to the enthusiasm of so many.
Well done to Carol for the win and thanks to Lynchie and Terry for making the last few races that bit more interesting as it was so close.
Big thanks to Graham, Richie, Smithers and everyone else who helped out and was there every week either racing or having the craic.
well done Gareth and Carol - the league is a slugfest until the end, I can't think of a harder competition, you're both worthy winners! congratulations
Huge congrats to Gareth and Carol fantastic effort to turn up almost every week and race that well. Personally I attribute the majority of my improvement this year to the club league. Pushing yourself evert week against others or even against your own lap times is a huge boost to fitness. Many thanks to all who worked hard to run it, Graham and the multitude of timers, richie and the supporters photographers and craic mongerers. I had a great year and look forward to next year.
