well now..I am confused my this my Brazilian friend..where does Glendo fit in to this ? anyway, if you go up the boardwalks..
Stop, have a look around and with the boardwalks behind you look over towards the wesht ..theres a fence..
a trail leads from where you are standing to the fence..
follow the fence rightwards to the corner...
go left along the trail by the corner.
the trail will peter out..but you can then cut rightwards across the heather and join up with a ditch..
Follow this ditch to the left , go through a broken fence
stay rightwards on a rocky trail.
this will join up with an old double track
follow this rightwards until you arrive at the featherbeds
go left towards Glencree
the road will pass Kippure and head down towards Glencree..
just before Glencree there is a small forest on the left..
take the turn in to this and go through the barrier
Follow the awesome but dangerous and yet exciting but hard trail all the way to the top of Curtlestown
take a gel now and strike towards the east over Ravens rock
Into the forest of Annacrivey and the Bag Of CHips trail , right at the bottom of bag of chips.
Go along the fireroad and stop when you see a barrier on the left get over this follow fireroad to gate
go through this follow the road to the left , pass the Pet Cematary and on to the road, turn left and ride down victorious in to Enniskerry.
this is a fierce and hard route, not for the unwary or the ill equipped.
Will try to pick my way around the array of options . That means I havenât a clue about the directions you gave
Was planning to get to Three Rock, down the WW, Legend, then cross the Road to Cruagh, cycle up and find my way from there. I like the views from the Old Military Road, the open landscape.
I understood that the board walk at the top of the Cruagh, is that correct?
Was hoping that there was one way to cycle from Cruagh to Glendoo and then over to Glenculeen without getting to Eniskerry, then back and a recovery pint at the Blue Light before heading home.
Will bring all the necessary tools, and spares.. hope no mechanicals.. slow and steady all the way. If I get lost will just back track.
