cycling ireland EGM

i would be more than happy to represent the club at this, id say there will be plenty of shouting and screaming and jumping up and down

If anyone is interested going to the Cycling Ireland EGM, i have attached some further information.

For what's it's worth I really think the club should send it's full complement of delegates to this meeting. It's an opportunity to actually have a say in the future of world cycling!

I'm definitely going..who knows I might even get myself on to the Board at last time to get rid of all the styfling fuddie duddies involved in Irish Cycling , don't you think ,Ger ?

This EGM is on this Saturday... I can not make it but if anyone wants to go for the the club, please do...

i will go , how many votes does the club have or how many members may attend ?

I think we have about 4 votes, i don't think it make a difference any many people turn up.

I'm pretty sure the club has 4 votes but in order to cast the votes we need to send 4 delegates - 1 person can't have more than 1 vote! As I said before. I think we really should send the full complement of delegates, the decision at this meeting could affect the future of world cycling!

Jack, what paper work etc do we need to exercise our votes?

I'll also be there but I think I carry a vote for the Offroad Commission!

You'll definitely need your licence Oz - not sure if you'll need anything from the club! I'll check with CI if Jack doesn't know!

Has this anything to do with getting Sunday race start changed? As I have to voice my opinion

I think it is the Club that gets a vote and not individuals, so i think our club vote counts for 4 votes, due to the number of members...

you will need your CI licence.

Here is a list of Clubs and the votes that each club has - Epic MTB have 4 votes

Really important to note that it's a "one man - one vote" system for the EGM so if Epic only send two delegates they only get two votes etc!

Are there any other club members interested in going? This is very important and our votes count... It would be a shame if we wasted our votes.
