In the spirit of where we are, going forward, I've a bone to pick with that big boned Smithers bastiche. He's only in the club a wet week compared to me and is faster than me everywhere. His kicking my ass in the Enduro 40-50, and is only 39. I've sent a letter to Pat McQuid to object and I've heard nothing. I was on the phone daily to the committee, then they all resigned. You've left me with no choice but to write a strongly worded letter to the Irish Times, I saw the first Cuckoo of the summer today so I'll mention that too.

Since the day I started cycling I've been trying to catch Smithers! In persuance of this I've starved myself half to death, I've nearly given up drinking (much to Tracey's disgust), I cycle at least 4 times a week for a minimum of 8 hours and have a garage full of ridiculously expensive bikes! He on the other hand eats for Ireland, drinks for the whole of the European Union and goes out on his bike whenever he fancies it! And still I can't get close to him (unless the race goes on for a minimum of 3 hours!!) ...... no justice in this world!!

Damo works with aircraft, that really irks. I used to know the profile and specs of every fighter in Janes starting wit the F 86 Saber, I always wanted to be a fly boy. Now I don't even have a fake Brietling. He's in Bubion this morning too.

So Smithers is what your saying is.. we need to make sure nothing bad happens to either you or Richard L... as with you two around the universe is in balance... if something would happen to either of you then chaos would ensue... even worse chaos perhaps than having you both around.... clear as day... Einstein would be proud and would have probably worked this logic into his original theory of relativity and it would have benen 100% perfect! Genius!
