Great buzz around 3-Rock yesterday - and not just from the midges! Everybody seemed to be really enjoying themselves and having the Craic!
Damo had a great win in his very competitive class and finished a seriously impressive 17th overall! Some result from a field of over 300 riders! Richie also won his class and Alfie and Steve P both finished Top 10! Great stuff guys - some of the tracks looked seriously "interesting"!

Yep - I had a chat with Orla before her start! Shona, Caroline and Carol were up there too but not riding - Shona has a problem with her back (and is saving herself to whoop Jack's ass in Colorado!!)
Brilliant days racing. Was kinda disappointed with my result, even though I rode the course quite well. I think fitness got me in the end. Being able to carry speed for the entire of some very long stages was exhausting. Being out of the saddle for 6 minutes of relentless rock drops, nadgery roots and slidey off cambers really sapped the energy from the legs. Well done to Damo and Richie on their wins, and everybody else for their results. Great Epic turnout today, but we need some decent Epic enduro tops for next year. Cant wait to get out and reride some of those sections!
yes everyone who asked my why I wasn't riding I felt I had to justify it by explaining about my holiday! Caroline was sick of hearing my colorado story.
It looked like a deadly day and I was really gutted not to be out with everyone! well done to everyone who got out there

I was not racing obviously but it stayed dry for the race, looked a bit greasy in places but every one was flying down the trails looked like so much fun.
Need to get my self a full Suss and give it a go.
Only bad thing were the feckin midges .
Great results lads. I rode the course on Sat and on sunday morning, just to see what it's all about. The 5 stages were very challenging, especially at speed. Damo your some savage!
