Committee Announcement
As you all know Epic MTB has gone through a recent period of upheaval but thankfully this is now behind us and the club is now ready to move forward again!
The Committee
Alfie Wallace has agreed to resume the position of Club Chairman and Oscar Mac Ananey and Richard Lynch will re-join the Committee. BON, Brian Hutchinson, John Harrington and Smithers will continue in their current roles.
We felt that it was important to get the Committee back up to strength as soon as possible but we are aware that the club has many talented and committed members who have much to offer. Between now and the AGM we would love to hear from other people who would be prepared to step up to take on roles in the future.
Richie Byrne
Richie has now left Epic MTB and is no longer a member of the club. As such he has no role within Epic or at club events. Richie has been one of the driving forces in the club since itâs foundation and his absence will be felt. We wish him all the best with his new endeavours and look forward to meeting him on the trails!
The Club
We would appeal to everybody to get involved with the activities of the club as much as possible over the next few months â¦.. starting with a few pints on Saturday night!
Most of all, we would ask you to turn up for official Epic spins rather than alternative ones. The Club Spin is at the core of the club and the continued success of Epic MTB depends on members supporting these on a regular basis â itâs up to all of us!
There are official club spins on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays and we expect the famous Wednesday Spin to return shortly!
