Great kids tracks, Darragh went in U6s and ripped it up, Hannah did her first race and enjoyed it, I am stoked for her, watch out U8s.
Dad (me) was going in the S3 Mud fest! Blew my rear derailleur when it got clogged on the muddiest section during warm up, was happy enough as it was very, very muddy and tough to cycle on. But then they removed that section for the actual race as it was 'uncyclable'! So I imagine that while still skiddery the resulting course was more rideable, sadly I was off home with a disintegrated mech and banjaxed drop out, wheel ok though, phew.
Conditions up there aside once again a great day out! Thanks to the organisers.

Well done Dan who took a fine 3rd place. I got 7th which I was delighted with. I had a great last lap race with Max's mate thomasz. He caught and passed me but then I called his bluff as I sprinted past.. both legs cramping, a bit of 'all show no go', but it worked (old school road racing stuff). Despite the mud and Grahams comments!! it was a good days racing with a challenge hosted by XMTB.
