NPS Round 2- Delphi Adventure Resort, Mayo

Right who's going? And is anyone staying over night? Any one know of somewhere nice to stay?

Is it too far to travel down the morning of it? It's saying 2hrs 40mins on google. Staying down might be the way to go. Delphi have hostel type accommodation I think if u want to rough it. Not sure of b&b's and the like. Will do some research.

It's 3hours 15 mins from the Red Cow junction or around 280km's... Realistically you'd have to stay down in the resort on the Saturday, even if you stay in Galway it's still a 1hr15mins+ drive the next day...

I definetly won't be going, I can't justify the distance/cost of doing this round of the NPS...

Looks like there's a good few places close by, depends on what you're in to. Hotels from €49pps (not bad!) incl brekkie or there's loads of hostel type stuff. It would be quite expensive alright for a race but there's not that many rounds in the whole series and it's a new venue. I'll see what the general consensus is.

I'm going down on the Saturday, booked a B&B in Leenaun a couple of weeks ago, it's only 15 mins from Delphi and has a couple of pubs. Clifden is another option more pubs and accommodation choices there but around 50 mins from Delphi. If we get the weather it will be fantastic.

Book something quickly as it's the Bank holiday weekend...

Was thinking of driving up Sunday morning but might think again!

Chris, you should try and book a B&B today, it's a very long way to drive on the day of the race.

Think of staying in a hostel not sure which one there is the wild Atlantic hostel or the sleepzone Connemara, any one booked in or got a recommendation?

That wild Atlantic looks alright if we got 4 of us in a room or looks like that other one do a 6 bed dorm for €99 which is even cheaper! I don't mind roughing it if anyone else is into it. Once they have somewhere secure for the bikes. The alternative is a hotel or b&b for between 70-100... Really it's only somewhere to lay ur head as you'll be down sat eve and leaving sun morn.
