Good luck everyone I'm not going to make it after all, struggling with a course assignment due tonight so can't afford the time. I'm signed up for the baggy shorts race if anyone wants to use my entry if your allowed do that.....

That was deadly and painful at the same time
But a great day out in the freezing cold, rain , wind and snow on the top trails
Myself, Tara , Mickky , Adrian K , Kiernan and Brenndan I think that's all braved the elements and raced around an hour or 2 ish.
Trails are much improved and riding great thanks to Niall and him team.
Top 20 today so not a bad day out but could do better.
Thanks to Dave and Evan for the lift down today.

3c,windy and sleat,and yet I enjoyed it.Which is strange as normally you wont see me if its muddy and wet.Don't know yet were I finished,mid pack would be my guess.Had a right goober in an orange rainjacket in front of me at the start,and the tool wobbled forward and stopped,then tried to get going again,could'nt clip in and stopped in front of me again.Meanwhile riders were flying by us on both sides!!Anyhow finally got past the dick and done my race.I'd say the git is still out on the mountain somewhere!!!!

Also met Richie,was great to see him and have a small chat.

That was painful. First MTB race, got round without issue and managed 3rd woman in Baggy Shorts.
Brendan was styling it on the course, great to see.

I trundled around too, lost a rake of places at the end of expressway with a small mechanical, only took 30 seconds to fix but cost about 10 places,coupled with being stuck behind some roadie on same section. He got an earful from some bollix, not quite right but deserved at same time!
Big thanks to Dave and his little fella for the encouragement, hope you saw me overtake a rake of lads on the fire road as a direct result!

Great day on the bike yesterday despite the cold. Didn't get caught in too many traffic jams on the single track, though I was involved in one pile up where I lost 6 or 7 places. Managed to claw most of them back and had an ongoing battle with a guy on a purple Kona which was good fun.
Neville passed me at the top of the first climb and I didn't see him again, so looking forward to seeing the results.

That was great racing. Coming into the race was hoping to finish around 20th but when got to the start line quickly realized the quality of riders in Super Pro category and had to revise my target down :) Finished 34th at the end but very happy how the race went for me. Had few good fights all along and passed guys just before last corner and kept it on the last straight.
Funny when riding in a train of people on a single track some riding behind you were shouting "rider up" thinking you'll just move aside and let them pass you :) Too many bloody enduro riders nowadays
