Well it was muddy and there is no hiding from the fact that I had a terrible day on the bike. and that's all there is to say! Brendan had a mechanical, Colm had a tough day in the saddle and Adrian managed to float over all the mud and stay on the bike to get a top ten result (which was great given the competition and the conditions). Not sure how Max did but he caught me on the last lap so he was doing ok.

9th so happy with that, would have been happier with a win though :D
I thought it was brilliant, great racing as always in Lady Dixon.
But muddy but it was a great challenge, I think everyone enjoyed it.

9th for me as well and really enjoyed the race. Plus we had amazing weather, glad I took the sun cream. Felt good from the beginning and managed the pace well with relatively consistent lap times. Course very different from previous rounds, felt bit like racing muddy CX race on XC bike, skidding all over the place but somehow stayed upward all the time (Maxxis Icon/Ardent Race probably wasn't the best choice but still served me very well).
Well done to all that made an effort to travel north and race.
