Illuminous gilets for commuting / evening training

I was thinking of organizing hi-vis gilets with club branding for those of us who are commuting or training in the evenings or early mornings.

Something like this maybe?

In a suitable size and EpicMTB / Expert Cycles logo on the back etc.

I know the guy who owns Camden Clothing (bought a van from him!) I could talk to him and see if we can get a good deal.

The fleece lines one would be too heavy I'd say
What about just a regular hi vis vest to be worn over

They are very flappy. I've emailed them to see what they can get for us. They can probably source cycling specific stuff too.

Id be interested in a cycling specific one

I had one from Endura a few years back - great for commuting and getting to the trails of a dark evening. Velo do something similar as I'm sure do all the clothing suppliers (Spin11???)

The alternative is a winter jacket - Velo do something that is luminous / reflective and DWR (shower proof). It is pricey - https://velorevolution.selz.com/item...a918059c881c6d (And more road orientated than MTB)

I've this one from Decathlon which is fitted & water resistant (not fleeced) & is perfect for winter spins with warm jersey/base layer

That's the same as one I have for work max and it'd be a bit heavy and not very fitted for cycling in. It's always in the boot of the car if u wanna have a look (if I'm ever on a spin that is!) you'd be better off with something cycling specific

Maybe we should speak with Niall and see if he can get us good value on an endura one max

A Hi-vis gilet with the Epic logo on it from Velo Revolution is;

Hard to beat the free hi vis reflective jackets and matching bag covers from RSA if to losse just use safety pins to tighten up
