EPIC CX - Sun 20th Nov: ********* Volunteer's Required **********

Time is moving on to our EPIC CX race on the 20 Nov in Firhouse

So to update a lot of the pre event organisation is in hand from organising sledge hammers, tape, numbers, timing ,loos ,signs ,barriers, commissar, mc, planks, permissions, insurance, course ,trophies plus list of other things big and small from acquisition of generators to pens and pencils .

What is now need is for members to confirm that they are available to volunteers on the day
How long will the day be ? On the day event set up will be from 8.00am to knock down tidy up about 4-30

Below sample of tasks areas which you might be asked to help with if available just send myself a mail terenceo@eircom.net to say if your available ,if racing, contact mobile, what time your available from to and I will put your name down against one of the areas below

Event Coordinator Chris and Team that is the committee
Adult Sign on: Adrian, Brian Webber, Oscar, Erica Ladies race
On Line Registration: Caroline Martinez Ladies race, Dave Meredith
Youth races: Dave Meredith, Vinny Colgan A race, Donough O'Keefe A race
Commissar assistants for results: Neville Molloy
Chief Marshall Lawdie Austin
Marshalling for directing people to parking, at control points on course
Chief grounds man Niall Quinlan

I will be onboard for the whole day with whatever needs doing and hope to race the B race if I get a spot, so I could marshall in the A race if there was a few mins to get changed inbetween the two.

My Mam and Dad could marshal both and I could marshal at the a race,
Brendan.

I had volunteered but now away that weekend. Sorry folks I hope it goes well

Preparation, !!!!!! Lads your taking the pass, the 19th wtf I have been strimming for the last few weeks, the course need to be finished and riding a week before the event!!!!!! Come on, my self and Chris will be at the course tomorrow 2:45ish hopefully I'll get the whole thing stimmed, and unfortunately after that I'll be away on & off in the uk, who's free tomorrow to help ??????

And if it's dark just use your night light that you use when ye go night riding no excuse, come on all club members

I could help out tomorrow between 13:00 and 15:00 if it were any use but pretty tied up outside of that

Sorry Niall I had no idea you were even down working on the course. I will be over straight after work tomorrow so around 16:30. I will try get my hands on a strimmer but what other tools/equipment will we need?
