Super event run today by the entire club
Some Stirling work put in behind the scenes by in particular terry, Chris, Caroline, Niall Quinlan and Adrian van der lee amongst others And of course everyone that volounteerd on the day
The event went off without a hiccup and was for the most part stress free,
It was as though we'd run lots of cx races before

Hope to see everyone for pints at the agm on Saturday

And a big pat on the back for Dave and co with the kids race too!

Had a very enjoyable day, driving stakes into the frozen tundra, racing the deadly course and then tearing the place apart at the end. It all came together really well. Fair play to all involved in the planning and the strimming and the raking.

Thanks everyone. Proper cross course. We got lucky with the weather; WC race in Belgium not so much. They should have come here.

Really enjoyed that for my first CX race. Woke with a heavy cold and started to really struggle in lap 2-3. Badly wanted to quit the race during lap 3 as my energy levels were all over the place & breathing through my nose wasn't possible. I nearly did quit and then told myself to do just one more lap and if it was still hell I could stop then. Lap 4 got better , it felt like my body went into robot mode. As in just pedal pedal , this will be over soon ��. Glad to finish it anyway. Great day, lots of fun seeing everyone. I'd definitely do another one of those races. I'm hooked but I'm not buying a cyclocross bike!!! It seemed like Epic were running CX races for years, so well organised. Well done everyone, planners, stringers, volunteers , marshalling , great to see the club making such an effort together. Aw we're just deadly ha ! : )

Kudos to Epic Club! Today´s race appeared everything but your first CX event guys. Just gave my two cents wearing a fluor jacket and putting stakes in the ground, while the majority of you have organized, marshalled and raced it... hat off!

Did a handy 7 hour shift today helping out and although cold I really enjoyed it.To see the event run smooth,plus the racers enjoying the course made it all worthwhile.
Very proud of being a member of Epic MTB today and its all down to how hard the committee worked in planning and members who volunteered to get the race's running like clockwork.

Thanks to all organisers, volunteers & supporters. What a day. Speaking to lotsa seasoned CX racers after the event & everyone complemented the ULTIMATE CX course ye put on.

Thanks to Dave M who helped us put together a top kids event too. We would've been lost without u.

I loved every minute of the race. Came off 4 times, with 3 chain drops - all down to stupid errors. But that's cross. You finish where u deserve. Top bombing! Cheers Vin

Fantastic day from early til late. Thanks to Gary, Francesco, Kieran, Donnagh, Vinnie, Andy, Adrian, Gary C and Clare for raking, staking, taping the Kids races and tearing it all apart.

Having helped tear down a few of the Fixx courses I was amazed at the number of people who helped out and how quickly it was done and the number of people who were there at the very end.

Looking forward to the AGM, beer, pizza and craic.

Well that went brilliantly. Thanks to all the volunteers (including our marshals), and big thank you our club and all who dismantled the course. We had the placed cleared under an hour super club result.
