I'm heading up that way for the laugh. Very small amount of S1's also but I heard the course is really good so want to give it a blast.

When is it on Rob

Its on Sunday 19th March.It will be a mudbath,but some people love the wet conditions!!

Was that the place that was a absolute mud bath before ?

Hey, they wouldn't be mountain bikers if we didn't like the porridgey mud and general schlomp!

That race broke plenty of people.

Well folks

Headed up North in the miserable weather to give this race a blast. Rain stopped as we arrived so it wasn't too bad. The course was sloppy as was presumed. They did a brilliant job designing the course as it was fairly technical and was mostly singletrack which is always good. Very well run event with an excellent set-up. Took me a couple of laps to get into a flow but got it sorted from lap 3 on. The bad start meant I had to catch a few but happy enough to end up 6th in S1 considering. Well worth the spin up and nice to get back into the race routine again. Might do the next one.
