Hi
The dingle adventure race has a couple of MTB flavours to its lineup. Theres not many other adventure races in Ireland with MTB, if any at all. I don't know any. The catch here... it requires doing a 12 hr race minimum. Theres a 24hr version but I wouldn't be looking to do that.
Its done in teams of two. If someone fancies doing this with me, I'd start training for it. I haven't done any running for a couple of years, but I reckon I could get the running legs going again with something to target. The kayaking doesn't need any training at all. Hop in the boat and off you go.
Wouldn't be looking to break any records getting around this, just to do it for the experience. And give support to a MTB type event.
Example of DAR12 2016 was: Stage 1; MTB 1.5hrs, Stage 2; kayak 1.5hrs; Stage 3; 1.5 MTB, Stage 4; Hike 4hrs; Stage 5; MTB 3-4hrs.

Price is €240 per team
