Thinking that this place deserves a look, and it opens this Thursday at 5pm... Plan on being there around 5.30 - 6pm in the car park if anyone else is interested...?
I won't be paying for the uplifts so probably will get a few runs in on the more tame trails, that main one "The Gap" is for those comfortable with getting big air!

It's open from 9am Thursday for uplifts. I'm taking a half day from work and heading there for lunch time. I got a day pass, €5 with no uplilt. It's €45 for a full day of uplifts till 5:30 https://www.thegap.ie
I see the website says it closes at 5. Any info on if it's going to open for evenings?

Lads check the time it closes at 5
I would say the 5pm closing time is for the uplifts and bike hire... otherwise the place would be empty apart from Saturday and Sunday...
I'd reckon late openings in the summer evenings would be well worth their while

Yea it's strange, I mean will they pull barriers across the trails at 5pm? Or ban people caught out on the tracks?
It's probably not open tomorow evening Quinlan, better to wait for the weekend...
Went up there today for a look, met Gary K... Just missed Richard L...
Well, what can I say, what a place, amazing facility to have in Dublin... I cycled over from Ticknock and down the blue trail to the bottom..
It's everything the Coillte trails could have been and aren't!
Fast flowy berms, dual slalom, natural trails.... something for everyone, you can go down most of the trails on an XC hardtail, or bomb down them on an Enduro rig...
Blue trails are nice and easy, green trails for kids... Red trails keep you on your toes and Black trails you can test your nerves!
Also the climb back up isn't that bad at all and will keep the fit lads happy too!
Should run a club social spin there...
