Yea I think Max Power is going down in his 2nd home..

I'm undecided, it's a long drive down and there's a CX race on that day so...
see you there Garry ,
Graham and myself will be on cx bikes to warm up for the cx race later in the evening

Hmmm the decisions. 4hrs spinning around some great scenery, climbs descents and a spin through a cave, or 4 laps of a grassy field.....I can see why your confused :)

Burren mtb

CX is fine when it's middle of winter and nothing else to do but when a quality mtb event is on in September it's no brainer, just do it. I'll be there having a pint in the pub like last year, ride Saturday and stay over until Sunday too. Bring it on!

Any recommendations on where to stay? Had a quick look and it seems most stuff is booked

Yea I agree, defo would be good, though to make the most of it I reckon an overnight stay would be best to break up the 6 hour return drive...
I'm heading down on Friday also, staying in the wild Atlantic lodge where I might have a pint or two!
