XCM Nationals - official practice day

Because of the land access issues the Marathon loop will only be open for practice next Sunday the 17th and Saturday the 23rd of September.
The route will not be marked so:

a) you will need to rely on the GPS trace (which I will post later this week)
b) go up with someone that knows the route.

I'm happy to show people around but I'm not driving down on my own (too expensive), I need to fill 2 seats in the van.

Also, this is aimed at people who WILL race the Marathon, it's not meant to be a freebie spin if you just want to see the route.

Going to stay around Dublin on Sunday after all. Babysitting my sisters kids Saturday eve & I know it will be a late one so will just go for a shorter Sunday spin than practicing the nationals loop. Thanks & enjoy if u head down !

Hi lads anybody staying in the area the night before

Hi Max - If I were to do the 65km as a sportive - and didn't make the cut off - can I still continue on? Just want to do the 65 - not necessarily race it!

You will make the cut off no problem!

The cut off point is 27km into the loop and it's a fast rolling course so you need to be doing 13-14kmph to get there on time, no bother to you.
