Nire valley drop

Just wondering who is going to this event , I haven't done it yet.
Is it worth doing and do you stay over ?

Did it two years ago. Was a good day out with athe great feed at the end. Trails weren't technical but on FB they seem to be doing a fair bit of work. Im planning to head down to it but not staying over.

Did it last year. It was brilliant, even better than the Cooley Thriller. Good marathon style race with a good mix of climbs and fast descents.
Eat as much as you like at the end, soup, sandwiches, tea and cakes served by lovely friendly locals.

No need to go down night before. Easy and quick enough journey to get there from Dublin.

Yes Phil, i'm doing it and it's worth going down for. It's close enough so no need to stay over.

I'm going to do it two, I'm going to stay with the outlaws in Waterford the night before.

Plan on going also....! Hardtail at the ready....Cos it has 2 bottle cages... (Oz!)

I'm hoping to be down to do it too. Hardtail or full suss?
