Tuesday Loop - it's for you...

HI All,

With the weather improving the Tuesday spins are up and running. The loop takes in three of the best trails close to Dublin (Legends DH, Bag of Chips and the trail through Knocksink). Its 35km or 2 - 3 hours or there abouts and there are options to bail out if you want / need to.

Despite what you might think, this is not just a spin for the fast lads. You can definitely use it for training if you want and it will make you faster/fitter and your skills will improve but its really all about the craic. (watching Harry let all the air out of his tyre as he tried to pump it up was a particular highlight last night, as were the comments on Ben's lobster tan and Paul's freckles/tan).

So, if you get a chance, turn up at 6.30 at Lamb's or organise a group to leave earlier and give it a spin - I can't think of anything better to be doing on a Tuesday evening than cycling across the top of the Dublin hills.

Cheers, Dave
I've done these the last couple of years and it's great for the fitness, hoping to get back to it next week,I usually leave around 6 and the guys catch me near the end, although I probably won't do the knocksink part!
I’ll be back on these in a fortnight when work stuff f*£ks right off & I can get back training tues/thurs

I love this loop & these sessions are fantastic for bringing the fitness on
I usually leave <5mins before the greyhounds

HR Threshold these days is 169 - no clue what the max is but when I push I see 176 ish (if it goes any higher I can't really see!). Check out Caldwell's, it's basically a flat line :-), :-). The lads were taking it nice and handy.
